About Us
Rob Eagar is the founder of WildFire Marketing who helps authors, speakers, and publishers spread their message and sell more books through innovative marketing strategies. He has consulted with numerous publishers and trained over 200 authors at all levels - from beginners to bestsellers.
What is Rob's writing, publishing, and speaking experience?
Rob understands the publishing and marketing process from many angles. Without any platform or name recognition, he self-published his first book in 2001 and soon sold over 13,000 copies. His marketing efforts led to a traditional publishing contract and the re-release of his book, which sold another 23,000 copies and was translated into Korean and Spanish. Rob garnered appearances on national media including the CBS Early Show, the Los Angeles Times, CNN Radio, and the ABC Family Channel.
Rob also spoke to over 35,000 people throughout North America at 170 events, including influential churches, such as Saddleback, Willow Creek, and North Point, plus university campuses, including Georgia Tech, Gardner-Webb, and Palm Beach Atlantic. He poured himself into his listeners, regardless if there were 100 or 1,000 attending. Rob knows how to take a message from scratch and create a national platform.
How can Rob help authors succeed?
Rob's books didn't make the bestseller lists. Instead, he accomplished a feat even more rare...he successfully generated six-figure revenues from his book in a crowded, narrow niche. His efforts allowed him to write, travel, and speak on a full-time basis. Rob brings this same expertise to his clients and helps expand their audience, improve their message, and increase book sales. He has worked with authors at every level, from raw beginners to bestsellers stuck in their own success.
How can Rob help authors boost their book sales?
Rob understands how people buy books. His experience includes selling over $50,000 per year through live events, websites, radio and TV, and a monthly newsletter with over 8,000 subscribers. He provides proven, up-to-date ideas that help authors sell more books through social networking, public speaking, media interviews, etc. He knows how to help frontlist titles launch faster and revive backlist book sales.
Why can you trust Rob?
Rob desires to help authors and publishers spread their message like wildfire. Besides his own writng experience, he has a Marketing degree from Auburn University, produced seven straight years of sales increases for the American Nonwovens Corporation, and developed a $6,000,000 marketing plan for Sellars Textiles as National Sales Manager. His past success and marketing expertise unite to form a powerful advocate for your message.
Rob’s not all business. When he takes a break, you’ll find him flying down a rocky trail on his mountain bike or loudly playing his drums. However, his wife, Ashley, prefers that he join her to quietly paint, work in their garden, or watch Jane Austen movies. They reside in Atlanta, Georgia, and enjoy attending North Point Community Church.
